I have some poems (VASCULAR HEGEMONY, KIRK IN A CHAIR, GOOD SMEALS WHEN YOU ARRIVE) in the second print issue of Bright Pink Mosquito. BPM is amazing: free, bright and very, very pink.

On April 19th, APIARY ran a poem of mine called THE LADDER after it was nominated by Angel Hogan for inclusion in the Apiary Poetry Month feature. Thank you Angel!

And con/crescent posted the full text of the introductions from the c/c 012 reading featuring CA Conrad, Camille Roy and myself. Nicholas DeBoer wrote my thoughtful introduction, for which I am very grateful.

Jason and I are going to treat you to a loose “Field-Guide” theme, sharing poems that capture animals in language in various ways.

Join us Saturday (3/17) at the Beaumont Warehouse (5027 Beaumont Avenue, Philadelphia, PA) for a special joint presentation by Whenever We Feel Like It Reading Series and Manual Cinema.

At 8:00: poetry readings by Zachary Schomburg, Patrick Lucy, and Jenny Zhang.

At 9:00, Chicago’s MANUAL CINEMA performs their full-length cinematic shadow puppet show, FJORDS, a live cinematic shadow puppet show created with overhead projectors, human silhouette, manipulated video, and an original score for string quartet and percussion. Based on the poetry of Zachary Schomburg.

I’m reading with Carlos Soto-Román and Brandon Som tomorrow (2/25) at 8 pm for the Chapter & Verse Reading Series. You should totally come.

And yesterday I read at Tritone for the launch of Apiary’s Online Winter Issue. Which was awesome. Probably should have mentioned that here sooner, but my act: it’s not at all together.

I have a poem in the issue called PARENTING IS DIFFICULT.

The issue features a bunch of talented folks - so read widely my friends.
